さて、今回は「チョイ記事」として、英検1級二次で意見を賛成反対に明確に決めずに、"it depends"で受かったときの再現答案を書いときます。


何かの役に立てば幸いです。

そもそもit dependsはありなのか問題

これは公式見解でなくマジで個人の見解なのですが

①Agree or Disagreeってそもそも書いてある問題でやったら大減点

②それ以外ならOK

と読んでます。①で一ノ瀬先生が大減点食らってるのに、②で俺は受かってるので。

※「スピーキングの」再現答案なので、冠詞ガバや三単現ガバといった文法ガバは、あえて残しておきます。

お題:家事は男女平等になされるべきか

(的な感じです。正式なタイトルは忘れた。)

I suppose the global trend is "Of course, yes". But, in my opinion, the only right answer is "it depends". Let me introduce why I think so.

First, let's think about the case of a couple in which total burdens, like job, for each, are almost same, Of course, in that case, housework should be shared. Thinking like, "this is men's job!!!" or "women's!!!" are too traditional, and they are thoughts we should discard.

However, if one person's burden is too heavy compared to the other, like a couple in which a man or a woman should be working for 8 hours every day, and one can stay at his or her house for 24 hours, housework should not be shared, for the simple reason it is not fair.

As I said, what is important is the balance, I mean, the total amount of workload, and it is not a matter of gender. We must think simply. The total amount on couples should be fair. And, if in need, it is important to share housework, and vice versa. That’s it, Thank you for listening.
